Dracula Chronicles Amazon Review March 30, 2013
“Beware what you’re asking for…” I definitely asked (read “begged”) the occult powers in charge of literary matters that my readers like my book. And, as both the reviews on Amazon and the direct feedback I’m receiving show, my prayer has been answered in a spectacular manner. But what I did NOT anticipate was that there should be a UNIVERSAL demand for the sequel to the “Son of the Dragon”. As the writer of this review puts it (and I paraphrase), having brought readers into Vlad’s world I now “owe them more”.
I do take that observation seriously and thank reviewer “sblg43” for verbalizing my obligation in such a direct manner. Book Two, the “House of the Crescent Moon” will be out in December 2013 to make good on my promise to give my readers and long and exciting ride.
5.0 out of 5 stars Victor, you owe me….., March 30, 2013
This review is from: Dracula Chronicles: Son of the Dragon (Volume 1) (Paperback)
I am an acquaintance of Victor Foia. When he told me that he was writing a book about Dracula, I thought “that’s too bad because the whole blood sucking vampire thing is getting a bit over the top”. He told me that it was an historical adventure book based on the real life and times of Vlad the impaler. I decided to buy the book from him right then and there. (He had a new copy with him!) I am a fan of another author by the name of Stephen R. Lawhead. He also writes historical adventure novels. In anticipation, I could not wait to get started and when I did, I didn’t want the book to end. It’s a wonder how you nailed it the first time. I just can’t seem to find a good read elsewhere while I wait for your second book. Victor, you got me hooked and now you owe me more…
