I was very impressed to learn this reader finished reading the “Son of the Dragon” in less than one full day!!! But what truly delighted me was the observation that ih the reader’s opinion the Dracula Chronicles series was worthy of being included in High School reading lists, as a way of stimulating students’ interest in reading (and presumably in history).
It has been one of my objectives in writing the book to have such an effect upon young readers. It is quite gratifying to see that my vision is being shared by others. Thank you reader “marlies”.
5.0 out of 5 stars a fascinating read, April 16, 2013
This review is from: Dracula Chronicles: Son of the Dragon (Volume 1) (Paperback)
This is one of those very rare books that grabs you from the first page. I started it in the early afternoon with a pot of tea, took a reluctant break for dinner and returned to the adventures of young Vlad with coffee till I turned the last page at 10.30.
