This review is from: Dracula Chronicles: Empire of the Crescent Moon (Kindle Edition)
I read the first book in December because I didn’t want to wait for the second book too much. As expected, I liked the “Empire of the Crescent Moon” even better than the “Son of the Dragon”. It was easy for me to imagine where all the action happened in “Son of the Dragon” because I am romanian and I’ve seen most of the places but, even though I never seen the land of the Ottoman Empire, the author makes this task easy for the reader. It’s like you’re transported to a whole new world, with it’s beauty, atrocities and display of power.
I would like to see the books translated in Romanian. Any thoughts on that?
I am counting the days until the next release!

Dear Reader: I pay a particular attention to Romanian readers, as they can testify to the feeling of authenticity I attempt to achieve in my books. Having grown up in Transylvania/Romania, I believe I have a feeling for that part of the world. Nonetheless, it is gratifying to get affirmation on this from a compatriot.
Since future volumes will see much of the action take place in Wallachia, Moldova, and Transylvania, I am planning to spend a few weeks summer of 2015 in Romania, to replenish my emotional bank account with local color, taste, smell, etc. I look forward to discovering from the fans of the Dracula Chronicles like yourself whether my attempt to convey to readers all over the world the impact of those senses will have been successful.
Regarding a Romanian translation, I would be delighted to see one. Find me a publishing house in Romania willing to undertake the translation and I will grant them the necessary rights. 🙂
Thank you for your continued interest in my series.
