Amazon Review April 2013

I had the honor of being invited to lecture on the Dracula Chronicles at a retirement community in Seattle a few weeks ago. At that time I already knew my book appealed to young, middle aged, and “senior light” readers. Could I hope, though, it would also appeal to “very” senior citizens? I say “very” because at 66  I’ve been a senior citizen myself for some time. Or, some of my listeners were men and women in their late 80’s and early 90s. And I say “very” with utmost respect, because the place I come from values the wisdom of age above other less meaningful atributes, such as financial prowess, or social status.

I was gratified to see an extraordinary level of interest in the Dracula Chronicles on the part of my audience. Following the lecture several participants read the book and wrote to me praising it highly. One unnamed gentleman said there could have been more sex (I am not joking here), but otherwise he found the book impossible to put down. LOL

And now, an official review on Amazon confirms what I have been told in private. Thank you reader G. Wilson.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

I love historical based novels and this one is among my favorites. I had the privilege of meeting Victor Foia and hearing him lecture when he came to our center. Since I head up the Current Issues seminar, I had the fortunate experience of talking with him personally. He estimates that it will be a multi-volume novel and I am eagerly awaiting the next volume.
